Fay Wookey Memorial
We recognize that every individual has specific needs. By focusing on health maintenance, physical movement and mental stimulation, we help stabilize the decline of independence and actually improve competency.
The Wookey Center was established by the Wookey family to honor our mother and grandmother, Fay Wookey. We invite your family to be involved in the Center. A partnership between the Wookey “family” and those close to you will develop by sharing in the responsibilities of care giving.
At the Wookey Center you won’t lose touch with the community. Our philosophy is to integrate residents into the community through activities and involvement. Whether you are a native of the area, or are new to the area, you’ll enjoy the small town atmosphere in Clark.
If you are in need of assistance and support, we provide excellent service for those who are in need of additional care. Our residents include those who, at one point, would have been institutionalized because of their special needs.
The Wookey Center is licensed by the State of South Dakota Department of Health under the definition of “assisted living care”.
The Wookey Center promotes independence, interdependence and individuality. Our focus is on self-maintenance with assistance from our competent staff.
